Glass Disc
This is green overlaid on clear glass disc blown by Patrick Stern. I used drill and sand blaster. “The Storm Tree” by Annie Birgman, on which this work is based, and the painting of Segantini's provided the basis for this. The bats and range of shading add to the ethereal atmosphere.
Shown in Scottish Glass Society's exhibition at Collins Gallery, Glasgow in 2006.
